About Ray

Hi, I’m Ray.

I’m a papa who’s happiest when my hands are busy and life is moving just a little slower. Over the years I’ve spent a lot of time in the garage, behind a camera, and standing beside a grill, and I’ve found that those are the places where the best moments tend to happen.

Photography helps me pay attention. Sometimes it’s a project I’m working on, sometimes it’s just a quiet moment that makes me stop and look twice. I’m not chasing perfect photos — just the kind of moments that feel worth remembering.

The garage has always been part of my life, too. I grew up around engines and workbenches, learning by doing, making mistakes, and figuring things out along the way. It’s where I think, where I learn patience, and where a lot of good stories seem to begin.

When the weather’s right, you’ll usually find me outside cooking. Nothing fancy — just good food, a warm grill, and people gathered around. Cooking outdoors has a way of slowing things down and bringing folks together, and that’s something I’ve always appreciated.

This site is simply a place to share pieces of life as I’ve seen them — stories, photos, projects, and memories that matter to me. I’m not here as an expert, just someone who enjoys the process and likes to tell a good story now and then.

Thanks for stopping by. There’s always room for one more.
